I have been an educator for over 25 years. While attending SFSU for a teaching credential, I was the afternoon Director for 'Kids Club' in Berkeley/Albany YMCA. I have taught Pre- school through Fifth grade in the classroom. I have been a Learning Styles Coach/Tutor for the past 15 years. I work with students whose talents are not being tended to in the classroom; Visual/Kinesthetic Learners. 

I am a trained Reading Specialist (Lindamood Bell/ Reading Recovery) and Mortensen Math Coach. 

I also have the perspective of having attended a competitive prep school and matriculating at an Ivy League University. 

Early Elementary and Middle School Education needs to be hands on and concrete to inform High school and College Academics.
